PHONE PHANTOM STRIKES AGAIN

There has been another case of an obscene phone call in Glanmire this month. On this occasion the unwilling recipient was Siobhan Carey, 64, of Copper Valley View.

The Rogue Ringer phoned Mrs. Carey after 10pm on Sunday, May 10th. This should have already sent alarm bells as well as phone receivers ringing.

Mrs. Carey answered the call but was met with a torrent of profanity and all round nastiness. Mrs. Carey explains, "the phone rang late on the Sunday, I thought it might be an emergency, I was on Zoom with my daughter in San Francisco at the time, so I told her to hold on while I get the house phone". 

With her only daughter looking on from just over 5000 miles away, Mrs. Carey recoiled in shock and horror when she was met with a stream of phone filth.

"I was appalled" explains Mrs. Carey, widow of 4 years, " "F*ck you in your f*cking arse, suck my c*ck you cunt" he said, as I fumbled with the phone to find the call end button, I could hear him growling the word "widow!" over and over".

This is the fifth case of such a call in Glanmire with the first occurring early last year. Glanmire Gardai are no closer to catching their man, but have urged people to think twice before answering house calls.
